Off-Grid Solar Power system

How the system works

Are you in a remote area that is far from the electricity grid and you need a reliable power supply, an Off-grid solar power system is the best solutions for you. An off-grid system is not connected to the electricity grid and therefore uses battery storage. It is designed appropriately so that it generates enough power to meet the home’s requirements over the full day even on cloudy when there is generally much less sunlight.

Off-Grid solar power system are categorized as:

MPPT Off-Grid Solar PV power system. Up-to 6kW

These are simple less than 6kW off-grid solar power systems suitable for small remote and off-grid homes comprising: solar panels, MPPT Solar charge controller to charge the battery bank, battery bank to store excess solar energy and a battery inverter to supply AC power to the household appliances.

Inverter-Charger Off-Grid Solar power PV system. Up-to 20kW

Modern off-grid solar systems use inverters-chargers to manage batteries, solar, and backup power sources such as a generator. The inverter-charger also referred to as a multi-mode inverter, is the central energy management unit and can be either AC coupled with solar inverter/s, or DC coupled with solar charge controller/s, or both.

Modern multi-mode inverter-chargers are very powerful (up to 20kW) and are designed to run high consumption appliances like air-conditioners, large pumps, electric ovens and hot water systems, which require high continuous power or high startup ‘surge’ current.
