Description
The Power backup system is used to provide backup power when there is a KPLC power outage. This system consists of a hybrid inverter and a battery bank. The inverter charges the battery using power from the KPLC grid supply (when available) and uses the stored power to continue running critical equipments and appliances when there is a power outage

System components
- 1x10KVA hybrid Low frequency inverter charger. Charges the battery and supplies battery power during a power outage
- 400AH/48V Gel Battery or 10KWH Lithium ion battery. Stores energy for use during a power outage
- Automatic voltage switcher (AVS): Protects the inverter from Grid under voltage and over voltage.
- Manual changeover switch: For bypassing the backup system and use KPLC power directly
